PewDiePie holds the record for most subscribed channel of all time on YouTube. Earlier this year, the YouTube channel T-Series (an Indian music label company) started getting dangerously close to PewDiePie’s record number, set to dethrone him.

Fans of PewDiePie were determined to keep his record in place, even resorting to hacking about 50k printers to print posters in support of PewDiePie.

However, a few days ago YouTube implemented a removal of spam subscribers.

This quickly finished the neck-and-neck race, since apparently T-Series had a lot of bots following it.

You can see a subscriber comparison of PewDie on the SocialBlade website.
