Twitter announced that TweetDeck, it’s own tweet dashboard app, will now support scheduling tweets with videos or multiple images.
Twitter has been slow to upgrade their own social media management dashboard since acquiring the 3rd party app back in 2011.
This is a great update, as video and images generally gain more engagements on social media than plain text. Twitter claims the engagement rate is 3 times as high for tweets that contain video and images.
This feature was already available on most of the third-party social management platforms such as Hootsuite. For those social media managers who use Tweetdeck, their lives got a little easier.
